PREFACE
Rhode Island National Guard Soldiers and Airmen are woven into the fabric of our local community. They are our family, friends, and neighbors who have attended our schools and are employed by our local businesses. The training, education and career paths that the RI National Guard, our schools and our businesses provide work symbiotically to strengthen our community. The RI National Guard is an avenue that supports and promotes higher education with the goal to find stable, rewarding and meaningful careers. This collaboration of efforts builds innovative and synergistic networks to keep our community agile and resilient in the continuously changing world around us.
MISSION STATEMENT
The Rhode Island National Guard Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) event gives back to our local community by providing a platform for students, educational influencers and local businesses to participate in highly interactive hands-on experiences for the purpose of exploring, demonstrating and promoting the educational programs, career fields, and overall excellence of the Rhode Island Army and Air National Guard.
